I can't stop talking about them, I've told every person I've come into contact with since discovering their deliciousness.... family, friends, the check out assistant...and here I am, writing my first review, ever. First of all, and rather pertinently, I don't like "fruit-mince" anything, I'm not even that big of a fan of jam. Secondly, if I had a favourite "sweet" which I don't really, because I'm a savoury sweetie and I like my carbs dopamine heavy and dripping in butter. Fried is a food group for this potato princess and I would prefer to take my plate for seconds at dinner rather then "save room for dessert". Nonetheless, I now dream about these Fruit Mince Pies. Truly delicious in every sense of the word. Texturally PERFECT. The sweet spiced meaty "mince" is jammy, rich and robust, the exquisite pastry is crumbly, short, sugary, scrumptious. It's actually difficult to describe how equally satisfying and at the same time "moreish" they are. If you're actually a Fruit Mince Pie enthusiast, do yourself a favour, but save some for the rest of us recent converts! Unbelievably tasty.

Collected my favourite seeded sourdough loaf but was met with a very curt and grumpy attitude from a female staff member.There is a wonderful staff member,Declan who’s service is above and beyond.Unfortunately he wasn’t around. I understand it’s a busy time of year and is the 23rd of December but it’s made me rethink about supporting other boutique bakeries in the area as this was totally unnecessary and very disappointing. I was very chatty and asked how there day had been.
